Détaché in collaboration with Luigi Honorat
an immersive performance installation in
Mixed-Reality
The disappearance of physical existence into
the virtual void. The body and the movements
are transcribed into data. These can be
multiplied, take on different shapes. Entire
worlds can be visited to discover customized
avatars. A confrontation with the virtual replica
of the body. An alternation of visibility and
invisibility, hiding to reveal the illusion.

Détaché is an ongoing project between dance maker and performer
Yurika Sophie Yamamoto and visual and CGI artist Luigi Honorat.
Predominantly remote, they are in an artistic exchange dealing with
topics of the fast pace of cyberspace, the ephemeral quality of dance
movement, and sculpture, approaching from the perspectives of
performing, visual, as well as virtual arts.
Part of the collaboration was presented in virtual reality at the group
exhibition "Non-Existent Sculptures" in Ueno, Tokyo in February 2023
and immersive Performance „Data≠Movements/Person“ in Dock11,
Berlin, in June 2023
